The Art Guild of Port Washington, Inc. is a non-profit organization providing encouragement, education and
a forum for the appreciation of visual arts to the community of Port Washington, New York and seeking the
enhancement of the community's reputation as an arts center.

The Art Guild intends to accomplish these objectives by doing the following:

• Providing encouragement to local artists and craftspeople through collaboration and interaction
  
  
• Giving educational opportunities to the community in the form of workshop lectures and discussion
  groups
  
  
• Acting as a forum in which the community can appreciate the visual arts through exhibits and community
  projects
  
  
• Creating an art facility to serve as a focal point where community members can come to broaden their
  creative experiences

The organization strives to provide community members with an avenue to broaden their
creative pursuits. It is an organization open to all people with a common goal to advance
the art community of Port Washington.
